Know
Before You Go to Kenya for

Yellow Fever vaccination is strongly
recommended, even if an outbreak of the disease has not
been reported.
Cholera vaccination certificate is
no longer a condition of entry to Kenya. However, it is
highly recommended to take precautions against this disease.
Malaria is a serious threat especially
to people who have no resistance against it. African Medical
Research Foundation strongly recommends the use of prophylactic
drugs. Please visit your local health care provider or hospital
to obtain medication and advice.
Malaria: Prophylaxis
with Lariam, Malarone, or doxycycline is recommended for
all areas except Nairobi and the highlands (above 2500 m)
of Central, Eastern, Nyanza, Rift Valley, and Western Provinces.
Hepatitis information can be received
form your local Center For Disease Control or hospital.
